East Of Eden

This is our 5th time staying at East of Eden and we will plan to be back! We love the house, the location and all the amenities. The pool is a family favorite, along with the comfortable rooms and beds! The beach access is a short walk away and our hosts provide all you will need at the beach: towels, chairs, umbrellas. Shawna and her team are just a txt away, with a quick turn around to any question or request. I recommend this house for a great family vacation!

The weather, pool, beach and gulf waters were all perfect for us again this year and as it is every year East of Eden was immaculate. We had our Daughter and soon to be 2 year old Granddaughter with us for the first 4 of our 8 day stay. They flew into ECP airport which was a short 30 minute trip to pick them up. For the first time in 6 years we were without any of our pups and grand pups who have all left us this past year and have made so many special memories with us on our trips over past years. We’re now making amazing memories with our children and their families as they continue to grow with 3 grandchildren and our 4th on the way in early December. Shawna and John each year y’all make our stay at East of Eden our “Beach home away from home” where all we need to do is relax and enjoy ourselves at East of Eden with all the amenities, the amazing beach and the great weather we’ve been fortunate to have. Thank You for making it special for us again this year … Y’all are The Best !!

We had a great time. The house was perfect and we loved the screened-in pool. The staff was always quick to respond with any questions we had.

My family and I have stayed in many beach rental properties throughout Florida, Alabama, and the Carolinas. East of Eden was by far the nicest and cleanest of them all. The pool was amazing and cleaned twice a week! Spring for the pool heat if visiting in June, you will by far enjoy it more. Having a golf cart available was fabulous for going down to the beach. We also took it to pick up a few sundries from the local shops. Location of the home is perfect and super quiet. This was one of our best family vacations, we are already planning a return trip and will definitely rent this home again! Lastly, you couldn’t ask for better communication from the host. The area and home tips, reminders, and check in process was so easy! Literal 5 stars.

The house is great. Location very convenient to beach. House has a great pool deck.
